A Prima Vista

Feel the Pulse of Spontaneous Creation
2

Serendipity. That's the word that comes to mind when I think about "a vista" in music. It's a magical moment. A musician first sees a piece of music and, without hesitation, brings it to life.

Can you imagine the thrill? The nervous excitement. The raw vulnerability of that moment?

Where Tradition Meets Improvisation

Music and life are closely connected. Imagine yourself in a traditional Korean hanok, its wooden beams aged with wisdom, the soft glow of hanji lamps casting ethereal shadows.

A gayageum player kneels before the instrument, fingers poised above the strings, as she's presented with a piece of sheet music she's never encountered.

This is "a vista" - the art of birthing music at first glance, without the safety net of preparation.
